Morris Zelpe

Morris Zelpe was born on March 15, 1914 in Pomorzany, Poland. He was separated from his family during World War II and later imprisoned in Russia. His parents, a brother and two sisters died during the Holocaust.

He married Stella Drozdz in Bamberg, Germany. In 1950, the couple came to the U.S and made Sheboygan their home. Zelpe worked at the Garton Toy Co. for many years before retiring in 1971.

Zelpe passed away on June 14, 2002. He was 88 years old.
