Mead Community Radio

Mead Community Radio is an internet radio station streaming live from Mead Public Library in Sheboygan, Wis! The station features an eclectic mix of music 24 hours a day.

Mead Community Radio will broadcast the 2024 Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music series live on WSHS (FM) 91.7 -Sheboygan and online on the Mead radio livestream. 

The concert series runs June 20-Aug. 15. Broadcasts will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings, with some exceptions. See the concert schedule below for details.

The broadcast is made possible by Mead Public Library, Sheboygan North High School, and Wisconsin Public Radio.

Mead Community Radio will be airing an expanded schedule of locally produced music programs throughout the summer! The programs will be hosted by library staff and community partners and will air on weekdays. 

Mondays

4-5 p.m., Behind the Music 

Featuring stories behind the songs

5-7 p.m., Prog Is Alive 

Get prog-educated with this weekly progressive rock music show

Tuesdays

4-5 p.m., RadioMixTape 

Featuring eclectic curated mixes, often with a loose theme, hosted by DJ Eligo, whose music roots have one foot in punk, the other in Emo 

5-7 p.m. Choice Cuts 

Featuring a variety of music with a focus on indie rock

Wednesdays

4-5 p.m.  Time for Juju Music 

Spinning vintage African vinyl

5-7 p.m.  Continual Din 

A variety show focused on specific themes and concepts

Thursdays

4-5 p.m. Track It To Me 

An eclectic mix of tracks spanning country, rock, folk, local music and more

5-7 p.m.  Mead in the Mix 

DJ mix featuring Ambient, House, Techno and more

Fridays

4-5 p.m. RadioMixTape

5-7 p.m. Freshwater Funk 

Classic soul, funk, and R&B 

7-8 p.m. Red Hot Record Jamboree 

Featuring rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, R&B, doo-wop, country, and soul from the ‘50s and ‘60s. (syndicated show originating from WDRT, Viroqua, Wis.)
