Join the Sheboygan County LGBTQ Alliance for a book discussion series brought to you in partnership with Mead Library, meant to highlight the diversity of our community.

The Griefkeepers' Crafting Society is all about socialization and bringing community together, everyone included, to do our crafts and talk about the grief we have in our daily lives.

Tickets will be available at the 3rd-floor desk 30 minutes before each show.

Adults and teens, age 11+, are invited to stop by to learn about the Imaginarium makerspace, the equipment badging process, or work on a project of their own with a staff member or volunteer available to assist with the makerspace equipment.

Drop in to the Teen Center to personalize a baseball cap with patches, buttons, and other embellishments! We'll also have button making that you can attach to your hat, backpack, or anything else you want! 

A navigator from the Job Center of Wisconsin will be in the Library for meetings with those who need job assistance.  Registration for this is required.  Appointments can be made with Mead Staff. Please call 920-459-3400 ext.

Explore the world of dinosaurs, fossils, and unearth our history with a variety of fun science projects!

For ages 9-13 years old, registration is required. 

Join us for a joyful mix of songs, games, and movement! Children and caregivers will work together to bounce, shake, lift, and ripple the parachute while building coordination, listening skills, and teamwork.

Intro to Hmong language for kids ages 11-15 years

Sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and stitching enthusiasts of all kinds can meet up for crafting and conversation. BRING YOUR OWN project to work on. 

All skill levels are welcome. Help each other out with tips and ideas.

Join Play is Healing with a special Wiggleworms program starting at 10am.  

Playgroups offer a high-quality, fun, structured and unstructured play experience for children and caregivers to provide opportunities for play-based learning to support positive child development.

Come join us for this six-week session of Tai Chi led by instructors Jon Doll and Jane Lang in Mead's Quiet Study Room on the second floor. Registration is not required and classes are open to all ability levels.

Join the Sheboygan Ukulele Club and Lil' Rev for this free-form meeting of ukulele enthusiasts. Participants can bring their uke or uke-like instrument to work on a new song or a new skill. All experience levels welcome.

Meet the helpers who make our community strong! Each session features a special guest from our neighborhood—such as firefighters, police officers, postal workers, or transit staff—who will share a story and talk with children about what they do.
