Come take a Spring Break Journey with The GameBoard and the Imaginarium.
During this session we will be playing a dice game in small groups. This unique game will prompt you to expand your imagination as we build a story together. Each sentence will be crafted by the spin of the die! Then we will design, fabricate and construct whatever element you feel connected to in your vision of this community creation!
The GameBoard and Lynn Potyen, Owner and Founder
The GameBoard has been involving people in playing games since 2006. We’re THE place where camaraderie, strategy, imagination and entertainment come together in a gaming experience that’s fun for everyone.
Lynn Potyen, founder of The GameBoard, has quickly become a recognized resource for the worldwide game industry. She travels to help retailer owners and consults with retail location staffs about the rental model she developed. Lynn has also been a keynote speaker at game industry trade shows, both internationally and in the United States.
As a leading expert in playing for brain health, Lynn works with individuals living with autism to Alzheimer’s. In what is typically is an emotionally challenging time when facing these types of health issues, Lynn is able to help these people elicit a positive outlook.She speaks on the challenges of mental isolation and how best to circumnavigate your way to a more social lifestyle. She was speaking on this topic in March of 2020 in Reno Nevada, when the nation was coming to grips with how to handle the Covid-19 Pandemic.
