Join our Animal Scientist-in-Residence Heather Pekrul-Gulig from the Lakeshore Avian and Reptile Rescue and Sanctuary for presentations, visits with rescue animals, experiments and maker projects this fall. 

Meet Rocky or Maverick, the LARRS educational macaws, and learn all about macaws’ native region, wild populations, life expectancy, size, species of macaws, physiology, illnesses, diet, and captive keeping.

This residency is funded by a MilliporeSigma science grant.
