The lecture will take place from 6:00 to 7:30, with a Q&A session to follow. For more than 30 years, guest speaker Steven Rogstad has taught seminars and courses on Abraham Lincoln–related topics at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, Carroll College, and the Kenosha Civil War Museum. He is a former secretary of the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin and a former Review Editor of The Lincoln Herald, published by Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Notable highlights of Mr. Rogstad’s work include:
- 2014: Delivered the dedicatory address for the Lincoln Monument in Burlington
- 2009: His Lincoln Moments were broadcast daily throughout Wisconsin
- 1997: Established the Lincoln Monument Restoration Project on State Street in Racine
- 1993: Delivered the dedicatory address for the Abraham Lincoln/Mary Todd Lincoln Monument in Racine’s East Park
