Update on Sheboygan's Enhanced Ozone Study - with WDNR Air Management Staff

Purpose of Meeting

Sheboygan consistently has the highest ozone levels in the state and we received an F from the American Lung Association for air quality. The EPA has required our Department of Natural Resources to do an Enhanced Ozone Study to examine the causes and sources of ozone in Sheboygan County. The DNR has used a Mobile Air Monitoring Lab in Sheboygan County for the last several years which gives the department more detailed information than just monitoring.
This session will present on the findings from the Enhanced Ozone Study and give residents a chance to ask questions about what we can do to mitigate heath risks, and how to work with businesses and legislators for a more healthy lakeshore.
