Terrariums are miniature gardens, housed inside small containers. They are tiny ecosystems that create low-maintenance indoor gardens.  Terraria are often kept as decorative or ornamental items. Terrarium are either open or closed. Closed Terrariums are unique as they are self-sufficient and usually do not need to be watered. They are also more challenging to make and allow for the growing of tropical plants! Open terraria are perfect to accommodate plants like cacti and succulents. These plants are a popular choice for open terrariums because they thrive in well-draining soil and require minimal watering.
