7:00 p.m. Doolin’

French in origin–although easily mistaken for Irish musicians–this sextet (guitar, bodhrán, violin, tin whistle, accordion/vocals, bass) brings a fresh approach to Irish music. Doolin’ worked with legendary Irish guitarist John Doyle to achieve its unique sound—deeply rooted in traditional Celtic music but flavored with French chanson, American roots music, and even hip hop from the streets of Paris. “A finer gift hasn’t come from France since the Statue of Liberty was delivered,” says Jack Baker, Irish American News.
