Celebrate the 125th anniversary of Mead library by examining the history of Wisconsin’s libraries and the vital role libraries play in the state today during this talk led by Laura Sauser and Nyama Reed of the Wisconsin Library Association.  Learn about the early advocates instrumental in development of Wisconsin libraries and the vital role libraries play today––in college campuses, corporations, rural villages, urban areas, and more––and examine the changing face of libraries heading into the future.

The talk will be held at 7 p.m. and includes a reception from 6-7 p.m. in The Loft, with the presentation to follow in the Rocca Room. Presented in partnership with the Mead Public Library Foundation and the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters.
