“The Maid and the Socialite: The Brave Women Behind Green Bay's Scandalous Minahan Trials”

– Lynda Drews

Author and Brown County Historical Society member. Lynda has written 3 books and lives in Green Bay, WI since 1974.   All 3 of her books were about true stories about class and gender inequity involving women.

Lynda will discuss this story, which has been described as a true crime history.  This is the third book she has written which was released in 2023.  The setting is in Lynda's hometown of Green Bay, WI and takes place in the early 1900’s, an era where women were treated as less than equal to the city's powerful men. This true story is told with dramatic flair and is based on compelling research of facts.
