As an instructor at Sheboyzine Fest, Madeleine will be sharing her insight into the discovering and describing of these enigmatic beings. She will also be leading attendees in an exercise to make cryptid-themed zines of their own.

Learn more about exploring the world of cryptid creatures with enthusiast and zinester Madeleine Lyon. She will share her process for researching and uncovering the cryptids that she describes in her zine series Cryptids & Their Antics. You also will be given the tools and guidance to uncover and share cryptid stories of your own.

Madeleine J Lyon is an illustrator, graphic designer and cryptid enthusiast from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She explores her passion for nature, fantasy and folklore through her zine series, Cryptids & Their Antics.

This session is appropriate for all ages 10+ and up.
