Arts and crafts are great for winter when our gardens are sleeping! This class is an introduction to the art of botanical perfumery and will talk through some ideas on how to use your plants and gardens at the end of the growing season.

This class will introduce you to the odophones, top notes, middle notes, base notes, the fragrance wheel, perfume blending, basic perfumery concepts, and the art of perfume/cologne creation. Aromas are often described by their “note” and have been classified according to the musical scale. A perfect combination of notes will produce a harmonized blend. We will talk about how to use flowers and plants you grow in your own garden and other things you might have around the house to blend into your own unique aromatic blend. Participants will create their own perfume or cologne blend of 100% pure botanicals to take home with them.

If you are unable to attend, please call Mead to cancel so that someone else is able to attend this highly anticipated class. Due to space and material limitations, walk-ins will not be able to attend.
