100 Thousand Poets For Change, a worldwide poetry movement, presents its 12th annual open mic in Sheboygan.  The featured poet is Mario Willis, the Poet Laureate of Milwaukee. There will also be musical interludes from local singer-songwriter, Jon Doll.

The theme this year is "Where Do We Go From Here?" Event organizer and poet laureate of Sheboygan Lisa Vihos says, "Now more than ever, it is crucial that we focus on the commonalities we share with others rather than what we see as differences. Poetry is a universal language that can remind us of our connection to each other as we chart a course for the future. I hope people of all ages and backgrounds will bring a poem to share. And if someone just wants to listen, I highly encourage that, too!”

Members of the public can share an original poem or a poem by someone else. All are welcome to participate with a maximum of three minutes at the mic so that everyone gets a turn.
