Chase away the winter blues and welcome the greens of spring during Mead Library's third-annual WinterGreen festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 16.
Join Mead and over a dozen community partners for free activities and workshops for all ages on a variety of green-themed topics, including: backyard chickens, beekeeping, computer repair and recycling, food preservation, fairy house building, games, gardening, indoor birding scavenger hunt, local food demo, upcycling and nature crafts, water filtration, writing activities and more.
