Join Heather Pekrul-Gulig from the Lakeshore Avian and Reptile Rescue and Sanctuary for presentations, visits with rescue animals, experiments, maker projects and other activities from Sept. 15 to Nov. 9 as part of the Imaginarium's 2019 Scientist-in-Residence program.

Sept. 18 | 4-7 pm
Chameleons + Craft

Meet Lucious, the LARRS educational chameleon, and learn all about chameleons’ native region, wild populations, life expectancy, size, other species of chameleons, physiology, illnesses, diet, and captive keeping.  We will use photosensitive paper to help illustrate how reptiles, such as chameleons, can change the color of their bodies to absorb more heat from the sun. Participants will get to take home their creation.

Sulcata Tortoises + Craft
