 039; Rev talks about the ukulele's humble beginnings in Portugal and 
 Hawaii, as well as Rev's ukulele journey, his books, travels, as well
  as a variety of cool playing techniques. 7-8pmAugust 17: Intro to Slide U
 kulele Part 2; A follow-up to Rev's April 26th class. Lil' Rev w
 ill help you explore how to use a brass, bottle, or ceramic slide on the u
 kulele, as well as how to tune it and a few simple songs & excersizes 
 to perfect the style with. 6:30-7:30pmAugust 18: Learn to Play Sitting on
  Top of the World; An all-time blues and bluegrass classic, this song is 
 a study in old-time coolness on the ukulele. We'll look at progressio
 n, a simple solo, tremolo use, triplets, and more! 6:30-7:30pmMead Library
