 lassat the Mead Public Library in Sheboygan WI. \r\nAsahi Nordic is a min
 d-body health exercise practice developed in Finland. The main goal is kee
 ping the mind and body health and active throughout all stages of life. Th
 e Asahi practice is comprised of 12 exercises in a series. There are three
  exercises in each of the following areas: relaxation, neck and shoulders,
  back, and balance. \r\nThe book Asahi – The Nordic Health Practice (20
 22) shares “the movements of Asahi are basically relaxing and are design
 ed to gently increase muscle stamina, balance, coordination and concentrat
 ion.”\r\nIn this class we will learn and practice both Asahi Series 1 an
 d Series 2. The series are simple and easy to learn. All exercises are per
 formed standing or can be modified sitting, and no special equipment or cl
 othing is required. \r\nThe exercises were developed by exercise speciali
 sts to ensure that risk of injury is low and the outcome of benefits of pe
 rforming the exercises is extremely high. All ages and abilities are welco

 r\nClasses will be held as a four-week series and occur on Saturdays start
 ing February 15th-March 8th, 9:15-10am. Students are encouraged to attend 
 all four classes, but missing one is no big deal. This is a drop-in class,
  no registration required.\r\n
