2018 Youth Media Award Winners


And the Winners Are...

The much anticipated 2018 Youth Media Awards were announced earlier this week, to the delight of librarians and book lovers everywhere.  The American Library Association bestows these prestigious prizes, including the Newbery and Caldecott Medals, on the best books and materials published for children and young adults during the previous year. The awards not only honor authors and illustrators, but diverse literature as well.  Following are just some of the amazing  childen's books to win this year.  


John Newbery Medal for the most outstandng contribution to children's literature:
