Letterboxing and Geocaching

Primary tabs

This summer, Mead Public Library invites you to explore the outdoor treasure-hunt style activities letterboxing and geocaching and to help us expand the number of searches available in our community.

With letterboxing, participants engage in a combination of orienteering, art and puzzle solving, while geocaching involves hunting for hidden objects using GPS coordinates. For a quick intro, visit the official letterboxing and geocaching websites.

New searches will be added in the Sheboygan area in July and August and will be listed here. And we're always looking for help in setting up additional local boxes and caches. For information, or to send us your searches, email mead.as@meadpl.org.
